Inner ear/neuro sxs: It may be the inner ear involvement would cause ringing in the ear, vertigo and balance problems, and hearing loss which could be subtle at first. Sometimes an acoustic neuroma or cholesteatoma or Menierre's dz can go undiagnosed for a long time. Hopefully, you are seeing an ENT specialist and neurologist to rule these things out. Symptoms can be intermittent or more noticable at times.
