Of course: The alternative is to use sequential plastic aligners, the most advanced system by far is Invisalign. Ask your orthodontist for more information and if you are a good candidate for the Invisalign.

Depends: Depends on severity of your problem. Gold standard is braces. Compromise is clear aligners, about half as effective as braces and less stable post-treatment. Another choice is to have teeth reshaped, bonded, veneered, capped. Get full information. Talk to Restorative Dentist and Orthodontic Specialist for all the information you need to make a decision.
