Many reasons: Inflammation of the pericardium can also affect the underlying myocardium or vice versa. Ther are many causes of this and other than your arrhythmia your other symptoms may not be directly related to the heart but to the underlying condition that is causing it. Seeing an internist or cardiologist can sort this out.
