Allergies?: Sometimes you are exposed to an allergen that causes your nose to produce clear thin secretions in excess. I would try OTC claritin (loratadine) for 2 weeks to see if it helps. If that doesn't help you should see your doctor. Some people have "vasomotor" rhinitis which can be treated with a prescription nose spray.
