Pressure : Bow your head and pinch the soft part of your nostrils for at least 10 minutes. If bleeding continues to be runny and flowing, then blow your nose to clear the blood and clots out, and apply 2 sprays of afrin (oxymetazoline) to each side of the nose and re apply pressure for another 10 minutes. Assuming your blood pressure is not too high, and you are not taking a blood thinner, this should stop the bleeding, .
