My daughter just got bitten my our vaccinate d pet dog. should i be worried?

It depends: Check with your child's doctor. Some locations may be higher risk for infection from dog bites and may need an antibiotic- especially the face or hands. Clean the wound well with water and use an antibiotic ointment in the mean time. Call the doctor if there is redness, swelling or drainage. If your dog has not been sick, just check with your vet about symptoms to watch for in the animal.
