Opthal visit: Eye pain needs to be evaluated by an ophthalmologist or by the Emergency Dept. Please seek medical care for this problem. If a particle is lodged in the eye, rinsing with sterile saline will help to remove it and provide local relief. Other conditions include inflammation of the lining of the eye.
