Few possibilities: Inflammation of the penis can be related to conditions such as balanitis (swelling of the head of the penis) balanoposthitis (inflammation of foreskin and head of penis in uncircumcised males). It also can be due to urethral irritation or infection. Redness and/or swelling of the penis needs examination. Further evaluation by a physician is needed.
