Dialysis access surg: 1. You can lose your arm or hand-a bad effect. 2. You may get better dialysis and live longer. Some will consider this a bad effect depending on how they do no dialysis as they may not feel well. Discuss with the team doing it. They can tell you their own experience. and that is what you want to know.
