Complex: You might well have white matter lesions on your MRI in a pattern appropriate for MS. Risk factors include smoking, prior adolescent obesity, high salt diet, high fat diet, low levels of vitamin D, prior infectious mononucleosis.

MS information: Signs of MS may be loss of vision in one eye, double vision, numbness, weakness or incoordination, especially as transient "attacks". Risk factors include sun exposure, geography, and possibly vitamin D levels. among other things. Doctors often use MRI testing of the brain and spinal cord and spinal fluid analysis to help make the diagnosis when they are not sure.
