Heart rate: you can feel your pulse either in the carotid (side of your neck) or radial (thumb side of wrist). either way, you can count the beats in 10 seconds and multiply by 6 to get your pulse rate. generally, faster than 100 is increased, particularly if you are just sitting and resting.
