We don't know anything about you, not even your age, race, medical history or medications; therefore, no relevant response can be provided. You also don't report any problems related to the swollen uvula. I recommend you refrain from alcohol use/abuse to avoid swelling of oropharyngeal tissue which could lead to airway obstruction.
