A member asked:

Small orange/white bumps on the tip area of my tongue, burning sensation which worsens when trying to drink any liquid from water to coke or even milk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bumps on tongue: hello ~ these painful bumps on the tongue occur very frequently in all of us and they are usually due to reactivation of a virus we get as kids and is usually herpes 1 or coxsackie virus. Best treatment is triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% dental paste applied 3 -4 x a day. You will need a prescription for this. thanks
