Depends: The MRCP is an advanced imaging technique to show if your gallstones have traveled outside the gallbladder into the DUCT system. Gallstones traveling is dangerous to your health. So....no stones in your ducts is what a negative MRCP means. You may also have a bad gallbladder. You may benefit from gallbladder removal. Okay to ask your doc for a referral to a surgeon. Be well.
