No restrictions.: After your gall bladder is removed, you really don't have any dietary restrictions. About 30% of women who have gall bladder removal will have post meal urgency, which is an aggressive urge to have a bowel movement soon after meals. This is not due to the absence of the gall bladder. It is self limited, but if it persists longer than one likes, try imodium (loperamide). Good luck
