What would be a significant or serious reaction to first time allergy shot? and how common is it ?

Anaphylaxis: Severe reaction would be throat swelling, difficulty breathing, hives over body. That is why allergy shots should be given in office prepared for that with epi pens on hand and patients should stay in office for 1/2 hour after shot. Not very common though
