A member asked:

My father has hepatitis a ign negative, but hepatitis a igg positive, what does this mean, is it curable?

IgM?: Positive Hepatitis A IgG means that you had it in the past or else you had an immunization for it and are immune. Hepatitis A IgM means you have current infection if it is positive. Hepatitis A is the type you get at restuarants when there is an outbreak, it is rarely fatal and usually resolves on its own without treatment. It sounds like your father does not have it and is immune to it.
