A member asked:

Routine scan showed lack of fluid in csp- cerebral dysgenesis was noted- is this cerebral palsy indicator?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confusing question: Cerebral Palsy is a pattern of impaired movement and posture related to an injury to the brains motor cortex that occurred during development.Cerebral dysgenisis is just a label for poorly developed areas of brain, possibly from injury . CP would be the expected outcome if the dysgenisis effected the motor areas of the brain, while it would not if the motor area was not involved.
