CT scan brain: It can show that if the brain has suffered severe ischemic brain injury. However, in someone who is walking and talking, a ct is very unlikely to show any signs of a slightly diminished delivery of oxygen to the brain.

At least >24hrs: Ct scan will only show "hypoxic" areas of the brain > 24 hours after the loss of oxygen. For that, MRI is better.
