Psychiatrist: This dose is a high dose and you should be under the supervision of a psychiatrist who has experience with this medication and who will follow you closely and monitor its effects and will be able to detect any adverse effects or intolerance on your part. Definite symptoms and syndromes are at times noted with this medication.

Drug dosing: Zoloft (sertraline) more than 200mg/day is not the usually recommended dose, but individuals vary in their requirements. It is also recommended if you not responding with one medication, instead of keep increasing the dose which may cause more side effects. Changing to different agent or adding another group of medicine might help
