Dark nipples: Sometimes, hormonal changes can cause the nipple and the areola to get darker in color. Assure you are not pregnant as that can sometimes be a cause as hormones change during pregnancy. Cyclical changes in color can be a normal variant, but if this is new and annoying to you, and you're not pregnant, then get an eval by your Dr. with some routine testing. Good luck.
