I have always been taller than my friends but this past summer most have all grew taller than me. do you think i will get a growth spurt soon?

Maybe not: For males their growth spurt is typically 12-14 yrs of age. That is not to say you won't grow at all but it is possible some of your friends are "late bloomers", meaning they are having their growth spurt a little later. Either way you will be fine and able to achieve all you want as long as you put the effort.

Hard to say: Growth is pre-programmed into your genes and while some males are done growing at 17 some will continue into their early 20's. A single x-ray of your wrist and hand can be assessed for open growth centers, which would correlate with more growth, while closing or fused growth centers would mean you are done.
