Go 2 the doctor!: To rule out infectious diarrhea. If you have Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter or Clostridium difficile or infection, using medication to reduce diarrhea can be life threatening. See a doctor right away. After you have been evaluated and proven to have a non-infectious, non-inflammatory diarrhea, then your doctor will recommend a treatment. You need a dignosis before a treatment can be prescibed
