Anti-oxidants: The most dangerous thing for the skin is damage from unstable molecules, promoted by UV light, called free radicals. Anti-oxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamins C, E and A can help protect against this damage. Eating a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables is the best way to get these nutrients. Omega-3 fatty acids (salmon, sardines, walnuts) are also good.
