I would encourage: you to start with your primary medical provider. A sleep consultation can be made if medically indicated. If you are 17 years old - you would need a lot of money for sleep specialty evaluation. I would encourage you to discuss this with your parents - so that any indicated medical assessment can be covered by their medical insurance. Take care.

Yes: sleep issues can be due to naophayrnx issue, jaw posture issues or even related to intracranial infections at the occiput. You should get checked by a Sleep doctor.

Probably not: but there are other options such as home studies for sleep apnea or worst case scenario 911. Why won't your guardian take you or are you an emancipated minor?
