I am suffering from a heart pain that is mostly becomes severe when i get hurt emotionally, i did go a heart specialist and we found that i have water surrounding my heart, now since last night i can't sleep my heart is very painful and i have cramps?

Effusion: What did the cardiologist state is the cause of your pericardial effusion and are you on any treatment? Pericarditis causes chest pain (unaffected by emotion)and, at times, effusion but some sort of treatment is usually needed. I wonder if you should seek a second opinion from another cardiologist at a university hospital ,perhaps one with a special interest in pericardial disorders
