Ice, rest: Depending on how badly you damaged the tendons and other structures of your foot it may take between 4 to 6 weeks before you can get full motion back in your large toe. It would be a good idea to get examined by a physician to determine if an X-ray is needed as you could have broken a bone. For now, use ice to reduce the swelling and rest with your foot elevated until your doctors visit.
