2-3 times a day: Moisturizers in general are safe and can be applied multiple times a day on the body. Try using either cream or ointment which work better and avoid anything with perfumes or other fancy ingredients. Stick to basics such as as aquaphor ointment or cetaphil cream

Moisturizing advice: The frequency of moisturizing really depends on an individual's personal needs and environment. People with naturally oily skin may never need to moisturize, but people with certain skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis may require several applications per day. Avoiding fragrance body products, staying well hydrated, and wearing loose natural fiber clothing will likely reduce overall need.
