Is it safe to apply elomet cream for a long period of time?

No: Elomet cream has a steroid in it. Using if for a long period of time in the same place may cause thinning of the skin, hypopigmentation (lightening of the skin), and premature wrinkling just to name a few. If you are using this cream for a specific problem and its not getting better seek medical attention.
