The bone between my breast is painful when it is touched. the middle area between the ribs also hurts?

Any trauma?: Hi. In the absence of trauma to the area, I'd say it's probably costochondritis, an arthritis affecting the joints between ribs and the breastbone (sternum). There's no specific test for it, but it responds well to NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc). If NSAIDs don't help, see your doc. Good luck!
