Here are some ...: A true retractile testis can be seen and palpable in the sac while the baby sleeps, and should be just followed up to puberty - the time to become staying in the sac, as long as there is no coexisting inguinal hernia and he is comfortable. No: retractile testes is retracted a little up in the groin (inguinal canal) not into abdominal cavity. A retractile testes is already descended into the scrotal pouch

Yes: Retractile testis usually stops being retractile by puberty age.It does not lead to cancer.Please be sure to have your pediatrician check your baby.Good luck.
