Dilatation: It has little correlation to when you will go into labor. Many women, especially those who have delivered babies before, are dilated 1 or more cm their entire pregnancy. If your cervix where thinning and becoming more anterior and making changes with exams then this may indicate something. But for right now I would not worry, enjoy your pregnancy, enjoy the feeling of life inside. Best wishes.
