I have tramadol left over from a previous injury and was wondering if it would be suitable for severe menstrual cramps.

NSAIDs: NSAIDs - Ibuprofen or OTC Naproxen would be traditionally first line for premenstrual cramps and if you can tolerate them. Tramadol is now a controlled substance in most states and if you decide to use it make sure is not expired and also let your prescriber know about using it for a different reason.
