No worries: Your pain may have been local muscle pain, or it may have been "referred pain" - shoulder pain caused by a disorder in the chest or abdomen. Since it occurred around 2 wks ago, has not returned, was sharp in nature, and I assume you have been getting your regular prenatal checkups, your pain is likely not serious. Do discuss this at your next prenatal visit though. Hope that helps.

No worries: If the pain is gone then there is really nothing to be concerned about. I assume you were worried about a possible blood clot in the lung? Do you have risk factors for it (other than being pregnant)? Any family history? If it was a PE the pain would likely not have gone away. Enjoy your pregnancy!
