Run: I actually run daily as part of my exercise regimen. The trick is to use a schedule of hard/ easy workout days.. I have been doing this on a regular basis for over 18 years. If you try and do too much several days in a row, you will start to get overuse injuries like stress fractures, plantar fasciitis, and tendonitis which i tend to see in patients while gearing up for an upcoming marathon.
