Are glucose tablets good for people with hypoglycemia?

No: they should be used in case of emergency only. They will raise the blood sugar but they will also increase insulin production that will drop blood sugar more later. It is best to eat multiple small meals or to eat something sweet followed by protein like peanut butter or cheese to be metabolized slowly to keep the blood sugar up
