There is a rebound effect after having hypoglycemia that will then produce a high blood sugar because of the way the body compensates in addition to consuming more sugar. Your liver will produce more glucose as a way of compensating. You need to find out how to control the hypoglycemia to prevent this cycle from occurring. An endocrine doctor can help. Good luck!
