IV glucose: Hi. I don't know the various state laws, but I always thought EMTs could give IV glucose (Dextrose) for hypoglycemia. Check with your work or state EMT society. That would be awful If an EMT couldn't give D50W (dextrose) for severe hypoglycemia!
