No: at 2 months old if her fever is over 101 F, if she has difficulty breathing, if she is not able to tolerate feeings by bottle or breast, if she is lethargic or very irritable. These are reasons for her to be evaluated. The number of times she coughs...nope. I hope this helps!

Cough: A cough in a small baby can be serious. She is not fully immunized and may be at risk of whooping cough. There are also viruses such as RSV that can lead to breathing problems. Your doctor is correct.
