Not normal: It's a bit unusual to get numbness and tingling in toes(paresthesias)because of a sprained ankle. It may occur if the ankle has been wrapped with an ace bandage that is pulled too tight causing pressure on some of the nerves going to the toes. Or possibly it could be due to a more severe injury than just a sprain. Like a fracture. Loosen the ace bandage. If it persists see a specialist ASAP!

Go to Urgent care: See urgent care to make sure your circulation is OK and take an x ray to make sure there is no avulsion fracture. the ankle should be wrapped or splinted and you shoul be on crutches.
