Is it normal to have pain in a band on top of foot just below toes and numbness, swelling in two little toes after sprained ankle?

YES: Depending upon the severity of the sprain, swelling can extend to the foot. My question to you-without seeing a doctor, how can you be sure it's "just a sprain." Most ankle sprains, I think, are undertreated resulting in lingering problems.
