I've had a stye for about 2 days. still hurts to blink. woke this morning to a very pronounced bag under that eye. should i be as concerned as i am?

Pain?: Is there any pain or increased temperature or redness? If so you should be concerned that there may be an infection. If not and is only fluid, it is probably fluid from the sty and laying down. See an ophthalmologist.

Infection of glands: Infection of oily glands at the root of the eyelash follicle causes this painful condition. Swelling of the eyelid can occur due to fluid retention in the area. Treatment: hot compresses , avoid massaging or squeezing the keep eyelids clean, apply antibiotic ointment to eyelids. Avoid wearing Contact lenses. If no improvement Contact your MD
