No. : Interstitial lung disease or ild refers to various conditions which can cause fibrosis of the lung. These conditions often have symptoms such as chronic cough, wheezing or shortness of breath. Breathing tests and high-resolution cat scans are often used to make the diagnosis.

Not necessarily..,,: Prominent interstial markings on a regular chest x-ray are often due to x-ray technique. To diagnose interstial lung disease, you should have a cat scan of your chest. See your doctor to determine the need for further evaluation.

No: You may just not of taken a deep enough breath to inflate the lungs completely. The operational wording her is "no acute findings" which is code speak for normal.
