Repeat labs: A repeat set of thyroid tests can help determine if the replacement hormone levels are appropriate. If the thyroid levels demonstrate suboptimal activity, the medication may still be adjusted. On the other hand, diet and exercise may be the solution if the thyroid function is normal.
