HYPERPYREXIA: Child has to be seen by md aside from high fever, he does not eat. Try lowering the temperature by giving advil (ibuprofen) liquid 1 tsp every 4-6 hours and sponging him with warm water and pushing fluid intake. Since there is no associated symptom, its best to find out what is wrong.It may be a viral infection. Good luck!

Go to the ER: It's easy for a kid who has a fever and isn't eating to get dehydrated very quickly. Get to the emergency room--you're listed as being in north royalton...Parma hospital and southwest hospital (in middelburg heights) are both pretty close.
