Doctor's exam needed: A 2 month old baby normally does not have bad-smelling poop nor smelly gas. If that is happening, the doctor can examine the baby and look for infectious causes such as viral or bacteria causes. Also, a few babies have trouble digesting what they eat, thus leading to bad-smelling poop and gas. Two months is still very young, so a parent should not wait.
