I am taking 125mg simethicone for gas. it does not always work. is there something you recommend that is stronger? mostly hormone related, i think.

Antacids may help : Simethicone is best for gas. But sometimes the gas is caused by excess acid. Antacids will help reduce acid and therefore gas as well. You could use acid buffers (maalox/mylanta/tums/rolaids); Gaviscon combines anti-gas with antacid. Or stronger acid blockers like zantac/pepcid (histamine blockers). Or proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec or prevacid (lansoprazole). Some acid blockers combine with anti-gas.
