Probably: You might have damaged some local nerve branches with your laceration. Or you might have decreased sensation 2nd to the edema or even the anesthesia they gave you for the stitches. Even if you did damage the nerves you'll most likely get your full sensation back. But it will take some time - weeks and weeks. But there are some people who are left with small patches of permanent numbness.
