Myofascial pain: Yes it does. BUT you have to keep exercising the muscles as they are more prone to pain once they have suffered from such condition. Usually the muscle pain is secondary to a deeper issue such as back pain due to disc or joint problems or neck pain due to the same reasons in the neck. If therapy does not help, see a physician for proper evaluation. Good luck.
