Seroquel (quetiapine): Not sure. Are these regular seroquel (quetiapine) or seroquel (quetiapine) XR? Maybe your doctor was trying to do the equivalent of a taper from 50 mg to 37.5mg to 25 mg. Although it wouldn't be my choice of how to taper - it is one option. Depending on which dosage & forms you had - maybe your Dr. was trying to save you $ by using up the left over pills that you already had. With complex meds - consider a psychiatrist.
